entrepreneur - voice actor - coach
I sought out Stanley's help as a coach in the wake of a distressing breakup that left me distraught, confused, and teetering toward apathy. I reached a plateau in several areas of my personal and professional life, felt stagnant, and needed assistance in getting my life back on track.
There's a point in the hero's journey where one passes from the known to the unknown. Where you're forced to encounter your blindspots and dare to see life radically different in order to move forward. I knew I had reached such a place that required a fresh perspective from someone who had walked through a similar fire.
In my first meeting with Stanley, I knew right away that his influence was exactly what I needed. He brings an intuitive, heart-centered presence blended with irreverent power, candor, and a playful sense of humor that at times catches you off guard and at other times offers just the right amount of nurturing to balm your wounds from the road less travelled.
Stanley's method pierces to the center of the issues that are holding you back, identifying limiting beliefs and outdated structures while illuminating a path forward. He does this from a vantage point that is personal and real, oftentimes sharing from his own experience.
In the year since we started working together, I've experienced leaps and bounds in my growth, much thanks to the consistent weekly guidance from Stanley. I gained a handful of new clients, launched a new workshop at multiple locations, deployed an online course, and quickly created a following through YouTube with viral content that has resulted in a private community of over 100 people and even more bookings.
I went from muddled to clear, breaking out of unhealthy relationship patterns as I regained a profound sense of self and saw rapid progress in my businesses. Now I have a solid vision, and am executing it with passion.
It IS possible to live a fulfilling life rooted in your personal authority, and Stanley provides the tools and guidance to make it happen. I'm so grateful to know him and for all of his help. If you're serious about transforming your life for the better, he's definitely someone you want in your corner.
1. What makes The Voice Acting Institute different from other voice acting schools?
We’re not just another voice acting program. VAI blends traditional performance training with business development, personal growth, and conscious leadership. We’re redefining what it means to train as a voice actor by helping students master both their craft and themselves.
2. What is the ethos or philosophy behind The Voice Acting Institute?
Our core belief is that leadership transforms careers. We don’t just teach you how to read a script—we teach you how to lead your career with purpose, confidence, and creativity. We help actors unlock their personal power, create aligned careers, and show up fully behind the mic and in life.
3. Do you only work with voice actors?
No. While voice acting is our specialty, we also work with creative professionals, production companies, and organizations in the entertainment industry. Through our partnership with Creative Self-Mastery, we offer services like team building, company values workshops, and leadership training for both individuals and teams.
4. Do you offer production services?
Yes. We have in-house capabilities for demo production, podcast creation, and full-service audio campaigns. For large-scale projects, we’ve partnered with Bake More Pies in Tampa, Florida, to expand our reach and support high-level broadcast and commercial productions.
5. What kind of training programs do you offer?
Our offerings include 1-on-1 coaching, live 6-week ZOOM courses, monthly coaching pods, and pre-recorded e-learning. We also host in-person and traveling workshops throughout the year. Each course is designed to be interactive, personal, and transformational.
6. Are your programs for beginners or seasoned pros?
Both. Whether you’re just starting or a working talent wanting to level up, we meet you where you are. Beginners get structure and direction, while professionals get a space to grow, refine, and reconnect with their artistry.
7. How is creativity taught at VAI?
We use a holistic approach that includes emotional intelligence, script interpretation, intuitive connection, and technical precision. You’ll learn to feel into your reads, not force them, and to create from truth rather than mimic what you think "sounds good."
8. What values drive your training?
We are built on service, authenticity, innovation, and leadership. We believe in structure over emotion, self-mastery over self-doubt, and creativity rooted in conscious choice. Our students are taught to live these values, not just voice them.
9. How do you help actors grow beyond the mic?
We go beyond performance training with education in branding, mindset, business structure, and inner leadership. We help actors develop their personal brand, emotional resilience, and entrepreneurial muscle to thrive in today’s evolving industry.
10. Can companies or production houses work with you?
Absolutely. We help studios, production companies, and entertainment-based teams reset their vision, improve collaboration, and realign their internal structures. With our leadership and creative training, we support companies in reducing overwhelm and increasing creative output.
11. What is the first step for someone new to voice acting?
Start with a discovery call or join one of our intro workshops. We’ll help you clarify your vision, understand the basics of the industry, and determine if voice acting is the right creative and career path for you.
12. Where can I access auditions?
Through agents, casting websites (like Pay2Play platforms), and direct outreach. We teach our students how to network authentically, build lasting relationships, and create their own opportunities.
13. What tech do I need to get started?
At minimum, a quality microphone, interface, and DAW (digital audio workstation). We recommend options like the Neumann TLM 103, Sennheiser MKH 416, Twisted Wave, Adobe Audition, or Pro Tools based on your needs and budget.
14. Can you help with demo production?
Yes. We produce high-quality commercial, narration, animation, and eLearning demos tailored to your voice and brand. Our demos are built from the ground up—scriptwriting, directing, editing, and mastering—all in-house or through trusted partners.
15. What outcomes can I expect from training with VAI?
You’ll walk away with more than technique. You’ll develop clarity, confidence, connection to your voice, a strong personal brand, and the ability to create demo-ready pieces. Most importantly, you’ll grow into the kind of leader and artist who books consistently and sustainably.
