The Starting Point is a two-hour introductory workshop designed for anyone curious about voice acting or questioning how they’re currently approaching it.
Whether you’re brand new and unsure where to begin, or a working voice actor feeling stuck, burned out, or uncertain about the industry’s direction, this workshop offers clarity before commitment.
This is not a technique class and it’s not about fixing problems.
It’s an orientation into how the Voice Acting Institute thinks, teaches, and supports voice actors.
In this workshop, you’ll be invited to look at how you’re showing up to your voice acting career and how that approach directly impacts momentum, confidence, and results. The focus is on awareness, responsibility, and intention, not shortcuts or guarantees.
This workshop exists to help you understand whether our approach is right for you before going deeper.

Stanley Fisher has spent nearly three decades working inside the voice acting, advertising, and entertainment industries as a entertainer, voice actor, Mix DJ, producer, creative director, and coach. Over the years, he’s seen firsthand that talent alone doesn’t build a sustainable career. How someone shows up does.
Stanley created the Voice Acting Institute to help voice actors step out of confusion, fear, and reaction and into clarity, responsibility, and intention. His work focuses less on “fixing problems” and more on helping people understand what’s actually getting in their way, often long before technique or marketing becomes relevant.
Having worked with beginners, seasoned professionals, and national brands alike, Stanley understands the emotional and practical challenges voice actors face at every stage of their journey. His teaching style is grounded, direct, and compassionate designed to help people slow down, get honest with themselves, and make decisions from a more empowered place.
The Starting Point reflects how Stanley believes all meaningful careers begin: with awareness, alignment, and a clear understanding of who you’re being as you step into the work.
