Values for Voice Actors Workshop

A Values-Driven Workshop by the Voice Acting Institute

The world feels harder to navigate right now, especially in business. There’s more noise, more pressure, and for a lot of people, less clarity on what actually works. I know for me, if it wasn’t for my coach and the support he’s given me, especially in helping me see where I tend to blow things up, including my own career, I’d probably still be repeating patterns I worked hard to break. What’s made the biggest difference isn’t another strategy or tactic, it’s been getting clear on my values. That clarity has helped me become more complete within myself and, in turn, run a stronger, more grounded business.

At a certain point in a voice actor’s career, the challenge stops being about talent, access, or even opportunity. It shifts into something deeper, something internal. You can want more, aim higher, and even take the right actions, yet still find yourself hesitating, falling into inconsistency, or feeling a kind of resistance that doesn’t fully make sense. That’s the space where most people either push harder and burn out, or quietly stall without understanding why.

Values for Voice Actors was created for that exact moment. Not as motivation, and not as a temporary reset, but as a way to bring real alignment to how you operate. This is a live, working workshop where you identify where you’re in conflict and replace that conflict with clear, grounded values that guide your decisions, your behavior, and your direction. When that alignment is in place, things change. You don’t just think differently, you move differently. You show up with clarity, you make decisions with confidence, and you begin to build a career that actually reflects who you are instead of fighting against it.

Workshop Description

Values for Voice Actors is a guided, values-driven workshop built for voice actors who are ready to stop circling the same patterns and begin operating with clarity and intention. Rather than focusing on external strategies alone, this experience turns your attention inward to examine the beliefs and internal conflicts that are influencing your results.

During this process, you will identify where your actions and your intentions are misaligned, and you will begin to understand how those gaps have been affecting your progress. From there, you will define a set of personal and professional values that are not abstract or aspirational, but practical and usable values that directly inform how you make decisions, how you respond under pressure, and how you build your career over time.

This is not a passive experience. It is structured, intentional work designed to give you both awareness and a system you can continue to use long after the workshop is complete.

Why This Matters

Most voice actors are not held back by a lack of ability. They are held back by inconsistency, second-guessing, and internal conflict that quietly shapes their behavior over time. You may say you want one thing, but your actions don’t fully support it. You may start strong, only to lose momentum when things become unclear or uncomfortable.

Without alignment, even the best strategies fall apart.

When your values are clearly defined and actively lived, decision-making becomes simpler and more direct. You stop negotiating with yourself. You stop drifting between options. You begin to operate with a sense of clarity that carries through your work, your relationships, and your daily life.

This workshop matters because it addresses the root of the issue, not just the symptoms.

Who This Is For

This workshop is for voice actors who are ready to take ownership of how they are showing up in their career and their life. It is for individuals who are no longer interested in casually exploring possibilities, but are committed to building something meaningful and sustainable.

Whether you are early in your journey or already working professionally, this process is designed for those who are willing to look honestly at where they are, recognize what is not working, and make a shift in how they operate. It is especially valuable for those who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, inconsistency, or lack of follow-through, and who are ready to replace those patterns with clarity and direction.

Who This Is Not For

This workshop is not designed for individuals who are looking to be rescued, who are seeking quick fixes, or who are not ready to follow through on their commitments. It is not a space for passive participation or surface-level engagement.

We are not here to convince anyone to take their career seriously. We are here to work with people who have already made that decision and are ready to act on it.

If you are still in a place where you are unsure whether you are ready to do the work, it may simply not be the right time. And that’s okay.

What You Will Walk Away With

By the end of this workshop, you will have a clear understanding of where you have been in conflict and how that conflict has been affecting your behavior and results. You will have defined a set of values that reflect how you actually want to operate, not just in your business, but across all areas of your life.

You will also leave with a structured, personalized spreadsheet that serves as a practical decision-making tool. This is something you can return to regularly, allowing your values to guide your actions in real time rather than relying on impulse, emotion, or uncertainty.

Beyond the tangible tools, you will experience a shift in how you relate to your work and yourself. As alignment begins to take hold, it naturally extends into your relationships, your environment, and your overall well-being, because the way you operate in one area of your life inevitably influences the others.

Workshop Structure

This workshop is intentionally divided into two sessions to allow space for both deep work and meaningful integration. The first session focuses on identifying your beliefs and uncovering the areas where conflict exists. This is where awareness is built, and where you begin to see clearly how certain patterns have been shaping your experience.

Between sessions, you will have time to observe these patterns in your daily life, which allows the work to become more real and grounded rather than purely conceptual.

The second session is dedicated to defining your values and integrating them into a usable framework. During this time, you will connect your values directly to the areas of conflict you identified and build your personalized system for applying them moving forward. This is where the work becomes actionable and sustainable.

Event Deatils

This workshop will be held live on Zoom, allowing for a focused and interactive experience regardless of location. In order to maintain the integrity of the space and ensure that each participant is fully engaged, the workshop is limited to ten people.

The experience will take place over two sessions, each lasting two hours, for a total of four hours of guided work.
