Meet Your Hub Captain – Christian

Christian Lagasse brings over 25 years of experience across dance, acting, voice work, choreography, and motion capture to the Vancouver Creative Hub. Starting his journey as a dancer at just three years old, inspired by legends like Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, Christian has grown into a multifaceted entertainer whose career includes more than 300 projects with industry giants such as Disney, 20th Century Fox, Netflix, Universal, and Nickelodeon.

His versatility has carried him from live stages to recording booths to performance capture studios. As a voice artist, he has contributed to global animated series, blockbuster video games like Borderlands, and festival-featured films at SXSW and Cannes. As a creature performer and motion capture specialist, his physical storytelling has pushed creative boundaries, including his acclaimed portrayal of the Xenomorph in the Alien franchise.

Christian’s artistry is also deeply rooted in movement. With training in more than 15 dance genres, he has choreographed for professional teams such as the CFL BC Lions Uproar Dance Team and worked as a movement director for live events and film. Every performance he touches is infused with humor, passion, and a commitment to authenticity.

At the heart of his leadership as Hub Captain is his belief in collaboration, curiosity, and resilience. Christian envisions the Vancouver Hub as a thriving garden of creativity—where artists from different disciplines come together, share their gifts, and inspire one another to grow.
